It cannot connect to the internet

Copy Fit doesn’t request Android’s internet permission, so Android itself stops it from connecting to anything. That isn’t a promise in a policy — it’s a restriction the operating system enforces, and you can check it: Settings → Apps → Copy Fit shows Mobile data usage: No data used.

What it does

  • Reads the health data you grant it access to, from Health Connect on your phone.
  • Never writes to Health Connect or changes your data.
  • Stores only its own settings — your chosen range, format and metrics — in its private storage on your phone.

There are no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.

When your data does leave

Only when you tap Copy JSON or Share. Copy puts the export on your clipboard; Share hands it to whichever app you pick.

What happens next is up to you. If you paste it into ChatGPT or another AI service, that service receives your health data under its own privacy terms, which Copy Fit has no say over.

Permissions

Copy Fit asks for read access to the Health Connect data types you choose, and for activity recognition, which Android requires for step data. You can review or revoke any of them in Health Connect at any time.
